Note: It is important for the safety of you and others
at this rally that you read and understand all of the information presented
in this program. It is important for your safety to walk the track and familiarize
yourself with the track layout and placement of safety devices and barriers.
REGISTRATION
- ALL PERSONS ENTERING THE TRACK PROPERTY MUST SIGN THE WAIVER AT THE TRACK
ENTRANCE
- Registration will be set up in the upper paddock during the following hours:
- Friday: 7:00 PM to dusk
- Saturday: 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM
- All riders, passengers and people working in the pit lane or on a corner must
register and sign the waiver
- Photo I.D. is required at registration
- You must register and have your riding gear inspected before taking your bike
to tech inspection
TECHNICAL INSPECTION and RIDER GEAR INSPECTION
- The mechanical fitness of each motorcycle is the responsibility
of the rider.
- To be eligible to ride a motorcycle on the track, you
must be 18 years old and photo identification must be produced at registration
- Bring your riding gear/tech inspection card
- All riding gear must be brought to rider gear inspection
and checked before your bike will be inspected
- It is suggested that each rider complete a MEDICAL
INFORMATION CARD and carry it inside their leathers. Medical information cards
are available at the registration desk.
- All bikes and gear must pass tech inspection prior
to being allowed on the track
- Technical inspection will be located in the upper paddock
- Your bike will not be checked if it is hot, do not
ride your bike to technical inspection
- ANTIFREEZE is NOT PERMITTED. We will be checking all
bikes for antifreeze; your cooling system cannot have any antifreeze present.
Evans, Blue Ice and any coolant containing propylene glycol is not permitted.
Please make sure the coolant filler on your bike is accessible
- Side stands are allowed at the discretion of the Tech
inspection staff
RIDERS' MEETING
- There will be a riders' meeting each morning at 8:30
AM sharp in the hot pit lane. The pit area will be checked during the meeting
for riders not in attendance at the meeting.
- ATTENDANCE AT THE RIDERS' MEETING IS MANDATORY. If
you are not in attendance you must report to the Event Coordinator
EVENT RULES
- Rules and guidelines for club track events are described
in detail in the "Official Rally Registration Guide and Rules" (the
"Rules") that is contained in your registration package. All rally
participants must read the Rules before beginning to ride. It is imperative
that all riders understand and comply with the Rules. If you have any questions,
ask any member of the Club Executive.
- It is important for your safety to walk the track
in order to familiarize yourself with the track layout and the placement of
Safety devices.
NOISE RESTRICTIONS
- You will be subject to the Sound Management enforcement
policy of Calabogie Motorsports Park. No refunds will be provided in the event
that you fail to comply with the noise restrictions determined by Calabogie
Motorsports Park.
- In order to enforce the Mandatory Noise Restriction, Calabogie Motorsport
Park (CMP) may measure noise levels of vehicles and/or equipment prior
to being granted access to the track.
- CMP may also conduct noise level testing at various points around the
track facilities.
- Should a rider or the club fail to respect the Mandatory Noise Restriction,
CMP may order the suspension of the Rally and/or the expulsion of rider.
PADDOCK, PIT LANE and TRACK ENTRY PROCEDURES
- Limit your speed in the paddock to 40 kmh/25 mph.
- Entry to the TRACK is through PIT OUT, located at
the east end of the upper paddock. There will be Club officials stationed
at PIT OUT who will check all riders to ensure they have the correct wristband
for the session in progress, helmet sticker, technical inspection sticker
and proper riding gear. Club officials at PIT OUT will also check for any
additional safety concerns including, but not limited to, oil leaks, loose
parts, etc. Once in PIT OUT, stay to the left and line up in front of the
starter. Once the session has commenced, the starter will signal each rider
when it is safe to proceed on the track.
- DO NOT pass the Starter until they have signaled you
to do so. Failure to obey the Starter WILL result in a black flag and could
result in removal of riding privileges.
- Weaving in order to warm up your tires is prohibited.
Weaving is dangerous and unnecessary.
RUNNING DIRECTION
- Running direction at Calabogie is always clockwise.
- It is highly recommended that all riders walk the track
at least once to familiarize themselves with the layout of the track and the
condition of the track surface.
- Be aware of the location of safety barriers and devices.
SESSION RUNNING ORDER
- Track sessions will be run on a 20 minute cycle throughout
the day. Upcoming sessions will be announced over the PA system. The Vintage
Class and 2 UP will be combined once in the afternoon immediately following
lunch at the discretion of the club executive.
- Listen to the PA for announcements. Track riding will
stop for lunch at the session that is currently on the track, running will
re-commence where it left off in the morning.
- Track sessions will run in the following order: GREEN
- YELLOW - BLUE
STUFF FOR SALE
- Club t-shirts, hats, stickers and other paraphernalia
are available at registration.
- Other vendors may be set up in the paddock area.
PHOTOGRAPHS
303 Imaging Inc. has the exclusive right to sell photographs
of the Calabogie Festival. Participants in the festival may take photographs
for personal use only.
