F.Y.I- new Jazz Club in Durham

Postby Ken L » Wed Mar 03, 2010 5:09 pm

For those that mught be interested: a new place called 'Cuisine N Jazz' has opened up in the AMC Centrum complex at Thickson/401.

Nice enthusuastic Jazz-loving couple are the owners. Food is good, prices are good.

Friday and Saturday nights organized trios etc, Sunday afternoon jam sessions. (last Sunday was phenominal!)

For those of us east of the 'CentreoftheUniverse', this is a welcome addition to dining/live music in the area.

Thanks for that Ken. I will check it out this weekend. Always looking for live music that I don't have to wear earplugs to listen to!

I'm heading over tonight for some food and tunes, possibly Sunday too for the open Jam.

I finally got over to Cuisine 'n Jazz this past Saturday, and it was great! Big Rude Jake was playing, and the place was pretty much full. Roger is a good host, making sure everyone has what they need, and he told us it was about the busiest night they've had so far. Good food, and surprisingly low cost. I'm pretty sure I'll be a regular customer!

Yup. All round good time.

I find I'm there every other Fri night, most Sunday Jam sessions. Untill I start riding!

I hope they won't mind a sexy Italian in front of the restaurant.
