Duc Owners in Windsor/Essex County area
Posted: Thu Apr 09, 2009 3:03 am
Just trying to get a feel for how many of us there are around here
Saw what looked like a sparkling new red Monster 696 on the road the other day, and occasionally see a couple of other Ducs around.
Maybe send me a PM or reply to this post, and if the weather co-operates maybe we can meet up somewhere this weekend

Apparently no takers for my invitation this time around, but for the future :
If there are any Ducati owners (who read this Forum) in Essex County, meaning from Windsor to Chatham, reply if you want to meet up for a ride sometime

Mostly just the ones that follow the outside contours of our little peninsula, Dave

Hi Chris; I also live in the Ducati wasteland of Essex County, specifically Cottam.I've seen a red Monster around Windsor once in a while, and yesterday saw a red Sport 1000 on Albuna Town Line.Unfortunately,we were going opposite ways.I have a grey '08 GT1000 that I've been building.Hope to see you around.

WOW !!! Finally an answer to my post from last year
Jim, thanks for the reply. We won't have much chance to meet on the roads, unless we plan to meet up at Tim's or some such. I'll send you a PM with my e-mail address and phone number ; please e-mail me back and we can communicate a little bit easier

Hi,
I have an 09 696, it's red so that might have been me.
Cheers,
Christian

Me and my three friends all have Ducati's. Puce Monster 750, Windsor Monster 900, Tecumseh Monster 900. All of them Yellow. The 2 900's have heavy mods. I was a 748S guy in the past but now have a Red 996R in Amherstburg

Hey Y2KR1 - Don't know what happened here ; it says you posted this Sept.17th, but I didn't get a notification that you'd posted to this topic until today, Oct.1st ! Strange
In any case, glad to hear that there's more Duc owners in the area. Do you all meet up and go for rides together, or meet for coffees occasionally ? I'd be happy to join you sometime...
Send me a PM if you feel so inclined

Hey Chris,
I think the message was on hold for Moderator review as I was new to the board. My bike will not be on the road till next season. My other Ducati friends have had busy summers at the track, with new borns, moving & etc so the group rides didn't happen. We plan to revisit a sunday ride a few times a month next season. I will look you up then. Mike
