Summer Road Ride - Erwin TN

Since the Bancroft ride fell through, I am hatching a slightly more ambitious plan for mid August.

US Desmo (http://www.USDesmo.com) are running a rally (Ducks Head West) out of Erwin, Tennessee August 12 - 14. I have participated in many US Desmo events and always enjoy them, but in the past, I have always trailered the bike to the rally.

This year I am thinking about taking a few extra days and riding the ST2 down and back. I want to get off of the Interstate for a change and ride some of the backroads that I always miss.

The distance from Sarnia to Erwin is about 1,100 km, which is a long day, or a pleasant 2 day ride. I would also entertain trailering part way past the straight flat stuff and riding the rest of the way.

I am looking for a riding companion or 2 to join me for the trip.

I will most likely leave Wednesday morning and return home Monday night.
