Because it's looking problematic to try for a reasonable alternative to our club track weekend at beautiful Calabogie unless a mid-week is acceptable, what could we consider as a program rounder-outer for the last half of June and all of July?

Please toss us some ideas.........

My brainwaves:

Cooperative race day (aircooled, vintage, pre-1998 or Euro, endurance, etc.) with VRRA or other organiser with necessary admin. infrastructure.

Rider skills development day mostly in partnership with manufacturer or similar bodge.

Club day at a Pro6 trackday by pre-registration. Best are Tuesdays.

Fishing trip during height of blackfly season.

These are mine, any others incl. comments???

Fran

I, for one, would have no problem participating to a track day during the week. The Calabogie racetrack is so challenging and so fun, it is, in my opinion, well worth taking a vacation to go there during week days, SPECIALLY IF THE TRACK DAY TAKE PLACE ON MONDAY-TUESDAY OR THURSDAY-FRIDAY.

And my son and I are presently working to form a kind of Equipe Quebec to be present at Calabogie in 2014.

Keep on the good work Francis and the team !
