Racing the Sport 1000

Hi all -

Thought it might interest some to learn that I plan to race my 2006 SC in SOAR this year. I will be in the BOTT LW class, and am considering entering the rookie class against the Japanese 600s but that will depend on my lap times.

I am a pretty late starter to this nonsense (45!), but it seemed like a logical next step from the track riding. I will be doing the SOAR race school on Friday May 23, then Round 1 that weekend.

I started a blog to write about my progress this season. Feel free to subscribe if you are interested in following this madness. There is already video posted from last weekend's Saturday practice.

Cheers!

Age it looks more like the lean angles you used.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to carry the Ducati banner in the SOAR sprint races last weekend. Bike developed a glitch with the fuel injection on Saturday. Whole sad story here:

Mike it would be so awesome if you brought a BOTT LW machine to the next round! Do it!

Round three did not exactly go as planned:

Mike crashed too. I bounce better than he does but he is fine.
