European delivery

Postby jeff4897 » Tue Nov 11, 2014 10:11 pm

Anybody heard of this being done at any (recent) time? I have checked the internet and can't find anything remotely encouraging. I am interested in purchasing a 2015 Multistrada and riding around Yurp.

I brought one back from Europe to the US but I had to sneak it in through Canada. To do it right you have to show it meets Canadian specs. The problem I found is that I was unable to find anyone at the importer that knew what the few differences are. Finally I found a guy at the factory while a Ducati week that said he could get me the info. With that, from the factory, if you have the mods done before you ship it back, you are down to paperwork. I Canada will let you bring it in for X amount of days to allow you to get the work done here, even better. But most likely, with that piece of paper from the factory, I would have the work done in London, then they can ship direct to Canada and you are here waiting for it
