OK, I can relate to hellish work, even though I'm a sly contractor these days...!

Hope you can join up if there's time. I'm assuming we'll be easy to spot...

Last note for now, if there's any other last minute information I'll post it up here in the early afternoon tomorrow, so please check before you head our for the ride.

As it stands, here is the final plan:

(1) Start at the Tim Hortons in Bayer's Lake, as per the directions Mike and Joe posted earlier in this thread

(2) Meet up at 6:15pm and we'll try to depart from Tim's no later than 6:30 pm

(3) We'll head around the Peggy's Cove route in a clockwise direction, in other words, out 333 on the Hatchet Lake side to Peggy's Cove and then back on to the Tantallon side, ending up at the 103 junction and start of Hammonds Plains Rd;

(4) Somewhere along there we will try and find a photo spot for the calendar photo;

(5) If anyone cannot make the start point, they should be able to join up by heading around the route in reverse direction, i.e., starting from the Hammonds Plains side, to spot us and link up, as Colin suggests above; and

(6) Once we've completed the route (64km or so), we can head out to the Chickenburger in Bedford, where we can kick back for those who wish. The Second Cup is also handy to that as well.

That should put us at the Chickenburger area around 8:00ish depending on various factors, in case anyone misses the whole ride and still wants to join up for a chat.

Hope that all makes sense, see you there...!

As you can probably guess from the weather, the ride is a Go, so see you all there...!

:D :D Couldn't agree with you more.
:oops: and this is for the way I managed to get through a couple of corners today.Looking forward to seeing some pictures - not quite the Pirelli girls but those bikes sure look good.
Thanks!

Hi guys

Great to see everyone again. Bummer about the traffic :cry:

Miloped: We did the route clockwise and stopped at Peggy's Cove for a photo shoot between 7:30-8:00. Then on to Tantallon/Beford

I had to peel off at Kearney Lake Road. (stuff to deal with on the homestead)

We need to get out for a Sunday morning (no traffic) ride sometime soon! A nice run to Bridgewater or the eastern shore would be fun.

See ya soon
Alan

Hey guys, that was fun last night. Too bad that we missed some folks - I don't know quite how that could've happened, unless they went by while we were all at the cove taking pictures. We had a nice collection of bikes, but no 748/916/996/998/848/1098's.

I'd be keen on a Sunday morning type ride, too. If it came through the valley I could maybe show you some of the sights.

Waiting for the pics!
