Need Starter Solenoid for 750 F1

Tried to post a reply before Mosport, but it wentinto computer limbo, and I've just discovered that.
Steve, the Lucas solenoid is the same as used on the MGA, and probably many other English cars. You can get one from any British car parts supplier, if you want another unit that's going to fail.
The best thing to do (cheapest, too) is to buy a Ford solenoid. Don't have a part # (mine's marked UNI609 12V). It even has the mounting bracket! Bring your old one to the parts store for comparison.
Good luck, Rocket

Steve,
Did you read the Lucas warning? It's says:
Smoke is the key ingredient that Lucas uses for all their electrical components. Every time you let the smoke out it is guarantee to stop functioning.

In real life I'm an electronics engineer. Believe me, I've made many voltage-to-smoke converters in my life! This one must have had all the smoke let out at the factory though.

3rd time's the charm.
