Contemplating a 2000 996 which is cosmetically perfect. Bike has 9000 miles on it and after researching these things I am scared to purchase a money pit. Rockers, cush drives, belts, electricals and breather tubes blowing oil over the engine are freakin me out and pushing me back to a vfr or perhaps a vtr. Visually these things are unreal and they handle amazing but I do not need to blow this kind of coin. Are all bikes this finicky or are these simply the lemons which can be in all bikes?
