Does anyone know if a 2003-04 999 fairing kit will work on a 2005 999?

I don't think so.......the "ears" of the headlight bucket are spread out farther on the 05 and later bikes. You "may" be able to use a different set of ears to remedy the situation. Good luck.

since I do not have the 999 yet, i can't see for myself . Do you mean that the lights will extend farther anterior
on a 2005 and therefore requiring a deeper nose fairing. I suppose I should check with the parts desk for the specific part #s to see if they are the same?

The mounting of the nose cowling is done via the headlight bucket which has 2 ears or fairing stays, these are wider apart on the 05's and later. The windsreen mounting holes are loacted differntly as well. There are also some asthetic differences such as 05's and later no longer have the cutouts in the nose cowl and the side wings are different as well. Hope that helps??
