Any Canadian 1098 owners receive a charging system Recall Notice for their 2007 or earlier 2008 machine (voltage regulator, battery box, heat shield)? Don't plan on riding for awhile yet... but just wondering. Mine is a Feb 08 build and haven't heard anything to date. Even if the VR replacement didn't apply, and I'm not certain that's the case, there's other work involved here. I'm aware of the earlier post on the subject but it remains kinda quiet and thought I'd fire up a new one. See what this generates before contacting my dealer. Regards, Dave
