Postby bkoenig » Thu Apr 15, 2010 1:27 pm

What do you use? Lots of deep stains on mine any ideas? Im thinking of clear coating my carbon fiber as well.

Ive heard zoopSeal Is good for the metal portions, can this go on the carbon fiber as well?

Thanks

WD40 and a Scotch-Brite pad works for me. Steel works just as well.

Don't mess around with the carbon fiber part just wipe them clean when they are dirty. When you clear coat it looks nice but there are two things that can happen: 1. if you lightly sand even with a 1000, if you go through to the fibers you will see ghosting 2. the clear will eventualy break lose in a short period of time and once you run through the rain you will see a white stain under the clear coat and you'll end up with a pipe that looks like S>>>.
