Ducati lap timer

I recently acquired a Ducati IR lap timer from XT Racing. They work on the 1098 and 999, the included instructions are specifically for the 1098. Does anyone have experience with the XT Ducati timer? ie. which buttoms do what? and the procedure to operate one.
