Thanks for everyones help

Postby bandito » Tue Apr 30, 2013 7:57 pm

I just wanted to thank everyone who shared their input when I made a mess out of my first valve adjustment. My bike runs better than when I first got it.

Thanks everyone!

Hello Bandito,
What do you mean "made a mess". We call it "investigative engineering".

I like how you put it. It really is "investigative engineering". Now I know exactly what to do for the next adjustment. It gave me a lot of confidence to work on my bike and other bikes.

Gee, when I was around 10 I did some investigation into the starting mechanism of my dad's lawn mower. When he found it all apart and also could not get it back together he used a different phrase to describe the process.
Those same words come to mind every time I have to change the string on my weed wacker.
