Posting for a friend with 1198.
It seems once the bike is warm, when the ignition is turned off, the headlights continue to get power, and make a buzzing sound.
I assume the buzzing is because the headlight circuit is only getting ~12.8V and not the full alternator voltage ~14V.
Has anyone experience this before?
We didn't think to check if other circuits also continue to get power, ie. brake lights, signals, starter, and haven't been able to replicate the problem again.
Dealer is booked through until next week and we are going on an adventure Stateside this weekend.
Please help!

Sounds like a defective headlight relay,not sure where it is located on this bike ,but dealer should be able to give you an approximate location when they look up the part

That was my first thought as well, mostly because it would be the cheapest and quickest solution.
Hopefully they have one in stock.
